Coronavirus: Lufthansa Group cancels 23 flights in April

Due to the spread of the epidemic with the new Coronavirus, Lufthansa Group decided to cancel about 23 flights between March 000 and April 29. For the flight schedule after April 24, Lufthansa Group will return with details at a later date.

The operational program will be updated gradually in the reservation systems, and the affected passengers will be informed about the changes and the booking options, starting today. It is not excluded that in the coming days there will be other changes in the operational program.

All Lufthansa Group companies will make flight adjustments mainly to Europe, Asia and the Middle East. However, care will be taken to ensure that all destinations on all continents can be reached with a Lufthansa Group airline through the hubs of Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Vienna and Brussels. Recall that Lufthansa Group is part of: Lufthansa with the subsidiary Eurowings, Austrian Airlines, SWISS, Brussels Airlines.

Lufthansa passengers, who are planning a trip in the coming weeks, are advised to check the current status of the respective flight on lufthansa.com before departure. Passengers, who have left their Lufthansa contact details, will be proactively informed if their flight is canceled.

In March, Lufthansa canceled 7100 flights, including flights to Bucharest, Cluj and Timisoara. 150 aircraft from the entire Lufthansa Group fleet are detained on the ground.
