Coronavirus: Qatar Airways will continue to fly. See new travel restrictions in Qatar.
Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani issued more guidelines to combat the spread of coronavirus in Qatar. As of March 18, 2020, only Qatari citizens will be allowed to enter Qatar, but with the obligation to stay in quarantine for 14 days. For 14 days, the access of foreign nationals to Qatar is blocked.
Qatar Airways will continue to fly from / to Qatar. And passengers, regardless of their country of origin, will be able to fly on a regular basis through Hamad International Airport.
In other words, you can fly from Bucharest to any destination served by Qatar Airways, with a stopover through Hamad Airport. Freight operations are not affected.
Occasionally, Qatar Airways may cancel flights for commercial reasons or because of bans imposed by governments of other countries.
