Coronavirus: Wizz Air suspends Romania - Spain flights
Wizz Air announced today that it suspends all routes between Spain and Romania from March 18 to 31, 2020 inclusive. The Romanian authorities imposed these travel restrictions for 14 days, affecting all flights between the two countries in efforts to limit the spread of coronavirus. Due to the same restrictions, flights to Italy will be suspended until April 5 inclusive.
At the same time, due to restrictions imposed by the Maltese authorities, all flights to and from Malta are suspended between March 21 and April 10.

Passengers with reservations affected by the flight suspension will be automatically notified by email if they have booked directly on wizzair.com or through the mobile application.
Customers will automatically receive in the WIZZ client account 120% from the amount paid for the trip, an amount that can be used in the next 24 months for the purchase of Wizz Air products and services.
Passengers can choose to refund the money - which will take longer - and they will be informed about the steps required for a bank transfer or the transfer to a bank card through a separate email. In this case, customers will only be able to receive 100% of the amount paid initially.
Passengers who have booked through travel agencies - including online travel agencies - should contact the agency where they purchased their tickets.
Wizz Air apologizes for any inconvenience these travel restrictions may cause to customers and assures them that the safety and well-being of passengers and crew remain the company's top priorities.
