Cyprus puts Romania in group C and imposes a 14-day quarantine for travel from Romania.

As of July 23, 2020, visitors from 51 countries may enter Cyprus in accordance with the new rules of travel taken by the Cypriot authorities. An epidemiological risk reassessment was performed for COVID-19 and the 51 countries were divided into 3 groups.

European countries impose restrictions and new travel measures for Romanian citizens.

Group A comprises 22 countries, and citizens of these countries can travel to Cyprus without a COVID-19 test. Group B comprises 21 countries, and those traveling from these countries to Cyprus need a COVID-19 PCR test with a negative result. Group C comprises 7 countries, and citizens of these countries can travel to Cyprus only if they have a COVID-19 PCR test with a negative result and a self-administered quarantine of 14 days upon arrival.

Category B - Countries with a possible low risk, but higher compared to those in Category A

Small states: 1) Andorra, 2) Monaco, 3) Vatican City, 4) San Marino
Third countries: 1) Algeria, 2) Australia, 3) Georgia, 4) Morocco, 5) Rwanda, 6) Thailand, 7) Tunisia, 8) Uruguay, 9) China

Category C - High risk countries compared to categories A and B.

Please note that only specific groups of travelers from Group C countries are allowed to travel to Cyprus

All passengers, regardless of country of origin, are required to submit an application for CyprusFlightPass (https://cyprusflightpass.gov.cy/) within 24 hours prior to travel. At the same time, Cyprus decided to randomly test passengers arriving by plane.
