From September 1, Qatar Airways will increase the weight limit for hold luggage

From 1 September to 2013, Qatar Airways will increase the weight limit of hold baggage to all classes: Economy Class - 30 Kg (currently 23 Kg); Business Class - 40 kg (currently 30 kg); First Class - 50 kg (currently 40 kg). The number of hold baggage will remain unchanged, depending on the type of ticket purchased. The new weight quotas may not take effect on certain routes.

Passengers traveling with Qatar Airways prior to September 1, but returning after this date, will benefit from the new luggage policy after the aforementioned date. From September, Qatar Airways will also publish new rates for those who want extra luggage. Privilege members will be able to carry as much luggage as they want within the limits imposed by the club's internal regulations.

Remember that air carrier Qatar Airways will increase the frequency of flights on the Doha - Bucharest route, from 17 September to 2013. In other words: increase shopping!

Qatar Airways is one of the few airlines that has grown significantly in a relatively short time. In just 19 years of operation, Qatar Airways has reached a fleet of 129 aircraft and an operational network of 128 to destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and North America.

In 2013, Qatar Airways launched the routes: Gassim (Saudi Arabia), Najaf (Iraq), Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Chicago (USA), Salalah (Oman), Basra (Iraq) and Sulaymaniyah (Iraq). Over the next few months, Qatar Airways will grow to the following destinations: Chengdu, China (September 3), Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (September 18), Clark International Airport, Philippines (October 28) and Philadelphia, USA (April 2 2014).
