From September 1, Qatar Airways will increase the weight limit for hold luggage
From 1 September to 2013, Qatar Airways will increase the weight limit of hold luggage in all classes: Economy Class - 30 of Kg (23 Kg at present); Business Class - 40 of kg (30 of kg at present); First Class - 50 of kg (40 of kg at present). The number of hold baggage will remain unchanged, depending on the type of ticket purchased. The new weight quotas may not take effect on some routes.
Passengers traveling with Qatar Airways prior to September 1, but returning after this date, will benefit from the new luggage policy after the aforementioned date. From September, Qatar Airways will also publish new rates for those who want extra luggage. Privilege members will be able to carry as much luggage as they want within the limits imposed by the club's internal regulations.
Remember that air carrier Qatar Airways will increase the frequency of flights on the Doha - Bucharest route, from 17 September to 2013. In other words: increase shopping!
