Where can the EU COVID digital certificate be downloaded following coronavirus testing / vaccination / cure?
As of Friday, August 13, 2021, for the crossing of state borders, at the level of EU countries, only COVID digital certificates will be recognized as documents proving vaccination, passing through the disease and the negative result of an RT-PCR test. The EU COVID-19 digital certificate will be the only proof of vaccination / testing recognized at the border crossing on 13 August
You must still comply with the requirements of the country of destination. However, from 13 August you will no longer be able to use the documents issued by the vaccination / testing centers for travel to the EU. They prove the action, but based on them you have to download your COVID digital certificate.
For example you want to travel from Belgium (located on Romania's yellow list) to Romania. If you have been vaccinated or tested (to avoid quarantine in Romania) in Belgium, you must download your digital certificate from the Belgian platform. It can be downloaded from the following link https://covidsafe.be/en.
If you want to travel from Romania to Italy, then you will need a digital certificate. If you have not been vaccinated, you must be tested. Italy accepts PCR or antigen. Test yourself in Romania and immediately download the digital certificate from the official Romanian website https://vaccinare-covid.gov.ro/.
