Delta ordered 50 widebody aircraft from Airbus

Delta Air Lines placed a firm order for 50 of new widebody aircraft from Airbus: 25 of aircraft A350-900 and 25 of aircraft A330-900neo. Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines will propel Airbus A330neo aircraft, and Trent XWB engines will propel Airbus A350 aircraft.

Delta Air Lines has a single-aisle Airbus fleet and widebody aircraft, including 57 A319ceo and 69 A320ceo aircraft, plus 11 A330-200 and 21 A330-300. In addition to this order placed on 20 in November, Delta also receives 10 A330-300 and 45 aircraft from A321ceo, bringing the total number of Airbus aircraft ordered to 105.
