Delta Air Lines Dedicates Pink Boeing 767-400 to Breast Cancer Research Foundation

Delta Air Lines, one of the largest airline operators in the United States and worldwide, supports Breast Cancer Research Foundation and in 2012. For the 10th consecutive year, Delta is dedicating one Boeing 767-400 painted in a special pink livery.

The impressive message was also painted on the plane: "Thank You Delta Customers and Employees. Together We Have Raised $ 5 Million For The Fight Against Breast Cancer."This year, the Delta action is also dedicated to the memory of the founder of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation - Evelyn Lauder.

The start of the campaign was given by a charter flight between Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and New York LaGuardia Airport, aboard which were about 170 passengers, women who survived breast cancer.

In addition to this, the Delta office building will be lit in pink in support of BCRF. What's more, Delta has announced that it will donate $ 1 for each new fan they will like Delta page on facebook, within the limit of 50 000 of likes.

During October, Delta employees will wear pink uniforms and sell pink products on board aircraft and in Delta Sky Clubs. Delta has started the partnership with BCRF in 2005. Since then, employees and customers have donated over 5 millions of dollars.
