Delta expands order for Airbus A321-200

The delivery schedule for the first A350-900 Delta Air Lines remains unchanged. In 2017, the US carrier would receive 5 A350-900 aircraft. They will come equipped with Delta One Suite and Premium Select cabins.

The new permutations would help the air carrier to be more efficient in operation, depending on market demands.

Currently, Delta operates 19 aircraft A321 and this expansion will increase the fleet to 112 aircraft in 2021. A321 aircraft will be used on US domestic routes, while older aircraft will be retired in the coming years.
