RYANAIR will operate the first flights to Turkey

Both routes will be honored with one weekly flight, being seasonal flights during the 2018 summer schedule. However, these routes open the door to a market with great potential, Turkey.

Flight schedule Dublin - Dalaman (from 24 June)

FR 5491 Dublin 06:10 - 12:55 Dalaman

The Dalaman region, as well as the capital city of the same name, is located on the southwest coast of Turkey, in the province of Muğla. Dalaman Airport is 5 kilometers from the city and serves this tourist region. Tourists arriving in Dalaman can choose from one of the resorts: Marmaris, Fethiye, Köyceğiz, Dalyan, Ölüdeniz, Hisarönü and even Dalaman.

The airport is small compared to others in Turkey. It has 14 parking spaces and, in the summer season, is the base for Onur Air, Pegasus Airlines and Free Bird Airlines. Turkish Airlines operates daily flights on the Istanbul - Dalaman route.

Although it is a small airport, 2015 has been transacted by over 4.37 million passengers. In the 2018 summer season, over 40 airlines announced their seasonal routes, most of them charter.

Dalaman airport is in the top 3 in size in the southern tourist region of Turkey, the other 2 being Bodrum and Antalya.
