Since the 2019 summer season, several Air Canada Rouge flights to Romania

Starting with 2018, Air Canada Rouge has opened the seasonal routes Bucharest - Montreal and Bucharest - Toronto. There were 2 weekly flights on each route.

Year 2018 was a turning point for Romania. After 10 years break, an air carrier unites Romania from North America. We are talking about Air Canada Rouge, which launched the Bucharest - Montreal and Bucharest - Toronto routes.

There are 2 seasonal routes, honored with 2 weekly flights aboard Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. The flights on the Bucharest - Montreal route were operated on Mondays and Thursdays (departing from Canada), while the flights on the Bucharest - Toronto route were operated on Tuesdays and Saturdays (departing from Canada).

More Air Canada Rouge flights to Romania

From our information, the flights were almost full during the whole summer season 2018. We are pleased with this and Air Canada Rouge has already announced that it will be back next year. What's more, it will increase flight frequencies on 2 routes, from 2 to 3 flights each.

But great attention. The routes will start on 8 June (Toronto) and 6 June (Montreal), but the frequencies will be increased during the periods: 25 June - 28 August 2019 on the route Montreal - Bucharest and 22 June - 17 September 2019 on the Toronto - Bucharest route.

Air Canada Rouge fare classes

Passengers can opt for 2 service classes, Economy and Premium Rouge. Economy class design provides comfort for the passengers and more legroom.

Also, Economy class includes on board airfare, refreshments and hold baggage of up to 23 kilograms.

The Premium Rouge class offers relaxation space for passengers, wider seating and more legroom. Premium Rouge passengers have the opportunity to carry two hold baggage, each with a maximum capacity of 23 kilograms, respectively and have priority at check in and boarding. On board the aircraft, the passengers of the Premium Rouge class have a gourmet menu, the food being served in porcelain dishes.

Multimedia and wi-fi in-flight services

Prior to boarding, passengers must download the Air Canada app, available on the App Store and Google Play, in order to enjoy a selection of newly released movies, serials, music, children's shows and more. These can be viewed on your laptop or any Apple or Android device.

Upon request and for a fee (a small fee), passengers can borrow an iPad. They are available for free in Premium Rouge cabins. The novelty of the flights operated on 2019 is the introduction of the high speed satellite internet, which allows the user to post live video, surf the internet and make in-flight purchases.
