Update 02.01.2021: Qatar Airways announced the launch of the Doha - Seattle route starting with January 29, 2021, about 2 months earlier than the originally announced deadline.

Between January 29 and March 15, the 4 weekly flights (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) will be operated with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which come configured in 2 classes: 42 seats in Business class and 312 seats in Economy class.

The launch of flights to Seattle will increase the US Qatar Airways network to 66 weekly flights to 11 destinations, further connecting to hundreds of US cities through strategic partnerships with Alaska Airlines, American Airlines and JetBlue.

Seattle joins existing US destinations, including Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD), Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Houston (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX), Miami (MIA), New York (JFK), Philadelphia (PHL), San Francisco (SFO) and Washington, DC (IAD).

Initial story: Qatar Airways has announced a new route available in the operational network. This is Doha - Seattle, a flight that will be operated in partnership with Alaska Airlines. Starting March 15, 2021, Qatar Airways will operate 4 weekly flights, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, to the new destination in America.

Flights to Seattle will be honored with Airbus A350-900 aircraft, with 36 seats in the Qsuite Business class and 247 seats in the Economy class.

Qatar Airways has also announced a partnership with Alaska Airlines that will start on December 15, 2020.

Those flying to / from Seattle can now enjoy very good connectivity to the 100 destinations served by Qatar Airways through the best airport in the Middle East, Hamad International Airport.

With the launch of this route, Qatar Airways will operate 59 weekly flights to 11 destinations in America, including Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD), Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Houston (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX), Miami (MIA), New York (JFK), Philadelphia (PHL), San Francisco (SFO) and Washington, DC (IAD).

By the end of March 2021, Qatar Airways intends to increase the number of destinations served to 126: 20 in Africa, 11 in the United States, 29 in Asia-Pacific, 38 in Europe, 13 in India and 15 in the Middle East.
