Paris Air Show 2013: DORIC Lease Corp signs MoU for 20 Airbus A380 aircraft
Update 22.02.2014: Amedeo (formerly DORIC Lease Corp) has completed the order for the 20 Airbus A380 aircraft. The contract was signed within the Singapore Airshow 2014.
In Paris, between the 17-23 June, one of the most important aviation fairs in the world - Paris Air Show 2013. From day one, major manufacturers of civil and military aircraft can boast new orders or signed agreements.
DORIC Lease Corp, a leading civil aviation leasing company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for 20 of Airbus A380 aircraft. It was signed by Mark Lapidus, CEO of Doric Lease Corp and John Leahy, Airbus Chief Operating Officer, Customers. Thus, A380 aircraft can be more accessible to many airlines. Operational leasing is a reliable solution, especially in the present conditions, when the economic crisis still makes its presence felt.
From 2007 to the present, Airbus A380 Nine air carriers from around the world arrived in the fleets. It is a model that can fly up to 15700 km. To date, A380 aircraft have collected over 920 000 flight hours in 110 000 flights and have transported approximately 40 million passengers. Every six minutes, an A380 takes off or lands on one of the 30 airports it can operate.
