Emirates will resume daily flights to Newark, via Athens, starting June 1, 2021. Thus, the number of destinations served by Emirates in the United States will reach 10, after the resumption of flights - on March 2 - to Seattle, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York JFK, Washington DC, Dallas and San Francisco.

The Dubai-Athens-Newark flight will be operated daily with a Boeing 777-300ER, completing the daily double flights of Emirates to New York (JFK).

Emirates flight EK209 will take off from Dubai at 10:50 local time, landing in Athens at 15:00 local time. The take-off from Athens will take place at 17:35, local time, and the aircraft will land at Newark Liberty International Airport at 21:20, local time.

Return flight EK210 will leave Newark at 23:55 local time, arriving in Athens at 16:05 local time the next day. EK210 will depart Athens at 18:05 local time and will land at Dubai Airport at 23:35 local time.
