Emirates has announced the launch of a service between the second largest city in Florida, Miami, and Dubai, starting July 22, 2021, bringing the US network to 12 destinations. The new service will give Emirates travelers another access point to Florida, after Orlando. It will serve the southern part of Florida, offering - at the same time - several connections for travelers heading to the Middle East, West Asia and the Indian Ocean via Dubai.

With the addition of Miami to the operational network, Emirates will now operate more than 70 weekly flights to US destinations, offering more than 26.000 seats to the 12 gateways: Boston, Chicago, New York (JFK and Newark), Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington DC and Orlando.

EK214 Miami 21:10 - 19:35 +1 Dubai

Flights to and from Miami will be operated with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The aircraft will be configured with three Emirates classes: 8 private apartments in First Class, 42 beds with beds in Business class and 304 spacious seats in Economy class.

The new service will add to existing commercial connections provided by Emirates SkyCargo, the cargo division of Emirates, which has been operating cargo flights to Miami since October 2020, facilitating exports of perishable products, electronics and other components, as well as e-commerce goods. Emirates SkyCargo has in the past operated several charter flights with Boeing 777 cargo aircraft to transport champion horses from Miami to equestrian events around the world.
