easyJet will operate a record number of flights between June and September 2016
easyJet, one of the largest low-cost operators in Europe, is preparing for the summer season of 2016. It has already announced the availability of a record number of flights (record for easyJet) and destinations for June - September 2016. Over 103 000 flights will be operated by the easyJet fleet during the aforementioned period, ensuring a carrying capacity of up to 17.1 million passengers. About 9.9 million seats will be provided by approximately 60 000 flights to and from the UK.
EasyJet is a low-cost operator with British origins. Has 20 years of flights. It operates 230 aircraft from the Airbus A320 family (135 x A319-100 and 95 x A320-200), and has custom aircraft 145 (100 x A320neo and 45 x A320-200). It covers a network of 134 airports from 33 countries, operating over 750 routes between destinations in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. It has 11 bases in the UK from which approximately 400 routes operate. easyJet carried over 2014 millions of passengers in 68, of which 12 millions traveled in business interests.
