ECDC: Traveling to Denmark, Italy, France and Finland is safer!
The European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) revealed in its latest report that the situation of Coronavirus has significantly improved in Denmark, Italy, Finland, but also in several other regions of EU countries. However, some areas continue to be severely affected by the virus. Romania is one of the European countries where the number of new cases is increasing and the pandemic situation is deteriorating from day to day.
According to figures released on September 23, Denmark and three regions of Italy - Piedmont, Lombardy, Molise - recorded less than 50 cases of COVID-19 infection per 100.000 inhabitants and had a higher test positive rate. low by 4% in the last two weeks.
As a result, Denmark and the three areas of Italy are now part of green list. This means that travel to Denmark or any of the regions on Italy on the green list is no longer discouraged, provided that tourists comply with the entry rules imposed by those countries.
While some states are on the green list, others are on the orange list, falling off the red list. Finland, several regions in France, Spain and Norway, but also most regions in the Netherlands are now colored orange. A sign that the pandemic situation is improving in these regions.
Regardless of the pandemic situation, each country is free to take its own domestic and border measures. Currently, most European countries require a green pass, vaccination is encouraged and travel conditions for those immunized or tested are relaxed.
