People traveling to Switzerland from certain countries and areas at high epidemiological risk must be quarantined for 10 days. The list of these countries was updated on October 29, 2020. A negative test does not exempt you from the mandatory quarantine.

Fortunately, Romania is no longer on the list of countries and regions at high epidemiological risk of Switzerland. Which means that quarantine is no longer required for those traveling from Romania to Switzerland. But the country of the cantons is on Romania's yellow list, so 14 days of self-isolation is required upon arrival in the country.

The only countries and regions left on the Swiss red list are: Andorra; Armenia; Belgium; Czech Republic and Franta (French Polynesia, Hauts-de-France and Île de France regions).

This should not surprise us. According to ECDC, the cumulative incidence rate per 100 inhabitants is 000, well above Romania's incidence.
