Embraer delivers first E190 to Ukrainian Aviation Group Alliance (UAG)
Embraer delivered two aircraft Embraer E190 towards Ukrainian Aviation Group Alliance (UAG) during a ceremony at the manufacturer's premises - São José dos Campos, Brazil. Three other aircraft are scheduled to be delivered by the end of 2012.
The aircraft will be operated by Dniproavia on behalf AeroSvit, both airlines belonging to the UAG. The aircraft will be configured in 2 classes and will be equipped with comfortable Elite seats. The UAG chose this type of aircraft because they are efficient on regional flights. Kiev is a very well-positioned city and allows the airline to open new routes to different destinations in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian operator Dniproavia has a fleet of 20 of Embraer ERJ 145 and 1 Embraer ERJ 195 aircraft leased from UAG. Five more ERJ 190 will be received from the Ukrainian Aviation Group Alliance, two are already delivered.
