Embraer E190-E2 Helvetic Airways operated the longest flight in Embraer's history
Embraer confirmed that the E190-E2 Helvetic Airways aircraft operated the longest flight in the company's history.
According to Embraer and Helvetic, 7.488 km were covered in 9 hours and 10 minutes by a direct flight, without a technical stopover. He flew from Rio Grande do Norte to Zurich.
There were Swiss drivers at the helm, and the runners-up were from Embraer. The initial plan was to fly to Geneva, but the aircraft performed very well and the decision was made to fly directly to Zurich.

This is the longest flight by a commercial aircraft in the E-Jet family (E170 / 175/190/195-E1 and E175 / 190/195-E2). At the same time, it is the longest flight operated by a plane produced in Brazil and delivered to the customer.
The Embraer E190-E2 Helvetic Airways also marked a historic milestone for Embraer. It is the 1600th E-Jet aircraft delivered.
