It is starting to be a direct battle between airlines that vaccinate more employees. Singapore Airlines, Scoot and SilkAir performed the first flights with 100% vaccinated crew.

Emirates raises and announced the operation of the first flight prepared by all employees, in the front line, vaccinated. According to information provided by Emirates, there are 70 front-line employees across the operational spectrum.

The Emirates EK215 flight, which took off from Dubai at 08:30 for Los Angeles, was safely prepared by employees, from check-in, security, business and first class salons, boarding gates, as well as engineers, pilots and cabin crew who have been vaccinated. Including ground staff handling baggage and catering services were vaccinated by COVID-19.

The Emirates Group started vaccinations in the company about a month ago. Since then, more than 26000 people, the equivalent of 44% of the UAE aviation workforce, have received both doses of Pfizer-BioNTech or Sinopharm vaccines.

Nearly 5.000 people - pilots and flight attendants - chose to receive both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. In addition, thousands more Emirates Group employees from other structures received the COVID-19 vaccine through the company's clinics and vaccination centers, while others opted for the vaccine administered at one of the many vaccination centers in the United Arab Emirates.
