Emirates celebrates 15 years of flights Dubai - Auckland (Video)

Emirates celebrated 15 years of flights between Dubai and Auckland, New Zealand's largest city. The route was inaugurated on 1 August 2003.

These days Emirates celebrated 15 years of flights on the Dubai - Auckland route. From August 2003 until now, Emirates has carried over 2.5 million passengers between Dubai and Auckland. Emirates operates 21 flights a week on the Dubai - Auckland route, direct or through Bali, Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

Initially, Emirates began flying to Auckland via Sydney, Melbourne and later Brisbane. Starting in 2009, Emirates introduced the revolutionary Airbus A380 aircraft on the Dubai - Sydney - Auckland route and back.

15 years of Dubai - Auckland flights

Operations have always been improved, and Emirates has come to honor all flights to Auckland via Brisbane and Melbourne with this type of aircraft. Emirates also operates a direct daily Airbus A380 flight on the Dubai - Auckland route, as well as a daily Boeing 777-300ER flight through Bali, Indonesia.

With the launch of the route Dubai - Auckland - Bali In June 2018, Emirates became the only airline offering daily flights between Auckland and Bali.
