Emirates will reactivate the Airbus A380 fleet from July 15

In a message posted on twitter, Emirates has announced that the Airbus A380 will return to flight on July 15. For starters, The A380 will be used on flights to London Heathrow and Paris.

At the end of March, with the onset of the global COVID-19 pandemic, Emirates parked its entire fleet of A380 aircraft. It is known that Emirates has the largest fleet of A380 ,, 115 aircraft in number, these being equipped in different configurations (between 498 and 615 seats).

The decision to reactivate part of the A380 fleet was taken after authorities in the United Arab Emirates have announced the opening of borders for tourists, starting July 7.

Airbus A380 lost the support of the airlines, which led to the cessation of production. Air France, British Airways, Korean Air, Qatar Airways, Qantas have decided to keep their A380 aircraft on the ground for an indefinite period.
