Emirates will fly with Airbus A380 to Cairo (special flight)

On October 2, Emirates will operate the Airbus A380 on a rotation on the Dubai-Cairo route. According to the program, flights EK 927 and EK 928 will be honored with the largest passenger aircraft. I mention that on October 2, when it will fly with A380, Emirates will operate only 2 flights, the rest are operated 3 daily flights with Boeing 777 planes.

The Airbus A380 Emirates aircraft, which will fly on the Dubai - Cairo route, will be able to carry up to 516 passengers: 426 in Economy Class, 76 in Business Class and 14 in First Class. First Class passengers can use the SPA showers. We also mention that First and Business passengers can enjoy drinks and delicacies at the Onboard Lounge.

Airbus A380 Emirates to Cairo

This special flight will put Cairo on the map of destinations on the Airbus A380 network. The infrastructure at Cairo International Airport will be approved for A380, and will be able to receive regular flights with this type of aircraft in the future. We mention that this will be the first A380 flight to Cairo.

At the same time, Emirates wants to strengthen its partnership with Egypt. The Dubai-Cairo route is over 30 years old since it was inaugurated. In April 1986, Emirates began operations to Cairo, with 3 flights a week. Since then, Emirates has carried more than 7,3 million passengers to / from the capital of Egypt.

Emirates currently flies to Cairo 21 times a week. As of October 28, there will be 25 weekly flights on the Dubai - Cairo route.
