Emirates will fly with Airbus A380 to San Francisco and Houston

Emirates, the airline of the year 2013 according to SkyTrax, has decided to increase the transport capacity on the flights to / from San Francisco and Houston, from 1 and 3 respectively December 2014. It will not add new frequencies, but will introduce the Airbus A380 aircraft instead of the current Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

This translates to additional addition of 135 places to San Francisco and 137 places to Houston on each flight, representing an increase of 38% of the transport capacity. Airbus A380 Emirates aircraft are configured in 3 classes: 14 seats at First Class Private Suites, 76 seats at Business Class and 399 seats (San Francisco) / 401 seats (Houston) at Economy Class.

Emirates operates a daily flight to San Francisco following the following schedule:

EXECUTIVE DXB 225: 08 - 50: 12 SFO 50 D
DO NOT SFO 226: 15 - 45: 19 + 25 DXB 1 D

Emirates operates a daily flight to Houston following the following schedule:

DO NOT DXB 211: 09 - 30: 16 IAH 05 D
EK212 IAH 18: 25 - 19: 05 + 1 DXB 388 D

San Francisco and Houston become destinations with the numbers 31 and 32 on the Emirates network to fly with Airbus A380. At the same time, San Francisco and Houston will be the 4 and 5 destinations in the United States for which Emirates will operate with superjumbo, after New York, Los Angeles and Dallas / Fort Worth.
