Emirates will implement digital verification of passengers' medical records.

Emirates and the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that aims to position Dubai as one of the first cities in the world to implement digital verification of travelers' medical records.

The MoU was signed by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President and CEO of Emirates, and His Excellency Awadh Al Ketbi, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority.

Within the MoU, Emirates and DHA will work to link the IT systems of DHA-approved laboratories to Emirates reservation and check-in systems to allow for the efficient exchange, storage and verification of passenger health information (possible infections, testing). or vaccination), all in a safe and lawful manner.
