Emirates will resume flights between Dubai and Venice on July 1. Initially, there will be three flights a week, thus increasing connectivity between the United Arab Emirates and Italy and offering customers more travel options.

The airline will also increase the frequency of flights to Milan, from 8 to 10 flights a week, starting in July. The new program will include a daily service on the Dubai - Milan - New York JFK route and a weekly rotation between Dubai and Milan.

Along with the five weekly flights of Emirates to Rome and three weekly flights to Bologna, there will be 21 weekly flights to four cities in Italy in July. Emirates will serve Venice, Milan, Rome and Bologna with its modern aircraft, the Boeing 777-300ER.

The expansion of flight services by Emirates in Italy came following the start of the pilot program launched by the airline - "Covid-Tested flight”- program that allows passengers to travel to Italy only a valid PCR test.

As of June 2, Emirates customers traveling to Italy who are over 2 years old must report to the authorities the negative result of a PCR test of COVID-19 or a rapid antigen test to be performed with a maximum of 48 hours before departure. Travelers will also have to perform a rapid antigen test on arrival in Italy at their own expense.
