Ernest Airlines has suspended flights since January 11, 2020

On December 29, 2019, the National Civil Aviation Authority of Italy announced the temporary suspension of the license of Ernest Airlines. The suspension will take effect from January 13, 2020.

It is clear from the reasons for the suspension that Ernest Airlines did not comply with the rules of air operation. As evidence, the authorities decided to suspend the license. In order to regain its right to fly, Ernest Airlines must prove that its actions are carried out in accordance with EC Regulation No. 1008 of 2008.

Although the operating certificate was suspended from January 13, Ernest Airlines has decided to suspend all flights from January 11, 2020. At the same time, it activated all the levers to get the suspension revoked. But it will take some time until all the evidence required by the National Civil Aviation Authority can be provided.

Ernest Airlines had a fleet of 4 A320 aircraft: 3 x A320 and 1 x A319. The operational network included flights to 20 destinations in Italy, Albania, Ukraine, Spain and France. The main base is at Milan Malpensa International Airport. We remind you that Ernest Airlines also flew to Romania, from / to Bucharest and Iasi.
