EuroLOT, a state-controlled regional airline, will cease operations after 31 March 2015. The decision was made after the airline struggled with financial problems, but without a positive result. The airline has blocked all bookings after 31 March 2015, but promises that reservations already made for April will be refunded.

For two months, various options regarding EuroLOT activities were analyzed. Adam Ambrozik, head of the restructuring department at the Ministry of the Treasury, argues that there are no opportunities to make the company profitable.

EuroLOT aircraft, 11 Bombardier Q400 units, will be taken over by LOT Polish Airlines, another Polish company with problems, but it seems that the restructuring initiatives have started to pay off.
