During April and May, Eurowings will transport tens of thousands of seasonal workers from Romania to Germany. German farmers need people to gather crops. Over 40 seasonal workers will be transported from Eastern Europe (including Romania, Bulgaria and Poland) to various destinations in Germany.

Due to travel bans, seasonal workers can no longer move freely in European countries to help harvest crops. The German Farmers' Association has called on governments for a solution through which seasonal workers can be transported.
