During this day, 15 June 2016, EVA AIR entered the exclusive club of airline operators listed on 5 Skytrax stars. During a ceremony, which took place at the Marriot Taipei hotel, the famous rating agency presented the 5 star certificate for EVA AIR.

The 5 Skytrax stars are only awarded to airlines with exceptional quality performance. Over time, only 5 airlines have been certified with 7 stars, EVA AIR being the 8. The complete list of star airlines includes: ANA All Nippon Airways, Asiana Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, EVA Air, Garuda Indonesia, Hainan Airlines, Qatar Airways and Singapore Airlines.
The certification process is cumbersome. Skytrax monitors hundreds of criteria in the evolution of airlines. The services from the ground, but also from the aircraft are taken into account. EVA Air promises to maintain its 5 star services and even develop and improve them further.
