EVA Air commissioned 3 Boeing 777-300ER

EVA Air, the second largest airline in Taiwan, has commanded 3 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The project also includes the possibility to buy additional 4 units. The Taiwanese carrier plans to increase its fleet to increase frequencies to northern Asia and China.

In addition, EVA Air will also rent four 777-300ERs GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), adding a total of seven new aircraft 777-300ER to its long-courier fleet. EVA Air is currently operating 15 777-300ER.

EVA Air is in talks with Star Alliance airline to join 2013. The airline has a fleet of 59 operational aircraft + 25 commanded. The main hub has Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport in Taipei.
