At least 5 people were injured today, 12.06.2016, in a bomb attack that took place at Shanghai-Pudong Airport. Police said a man had detonated a handmade bomb. made from a bottle of beer. He threw the bottle in front of the counters, a few steps away from a 2 Terminal registrar. The unfortunate event took place at 14: 30, local time.

After the explosion, the attacker cut his neck with a knife. He was transported in serious condition to the hospital. Four other people, including a Filipino citizen, were hospitalized with injuries caused by choking. Authorities confirm that the bomb was made inside the house and an investigation is underway. Some reports say there were two consecutive, low-intensity explosions.
