"Fanhansa" from Lufthansa for the FIFA World Cup 2014

With the occasion 2014 World Football Championship, Lufthansa will temporarily rename 8 aircraft with the title "Fanhansa". In about 60 years of activity, for the first time in the history of the airline, Lufthansa will change its traditional logo on the fuselage of 8 aircraft.

The first "Fanhansa" aircraft will be an Airbus A321 and will be presented on May 16. It will operate two flights from Munich to London and Hamburg. The first flight operated by a "Fanhansa" aircraft will have the code LH2066 and will take off from Terminal 2, at 11:20. After this Airbus A321-200, another 2 aircraft dedicated to short and medium flights and five long-haul aircraft, including the Boeing 747-8i, will be painted.

In about a month, the biggest football event of the year will start, and the fans will be kept in suspense. Fanhansa is not only a name and a logo, but also reflects Lufthansa's commitment to being a big fan of the German national football team. This is also a clear message for all football fans: "regardless of the game, Fanhansa inspires fans and takes them to the big football events around the world".
