"Fanhansa" from Lufthansa for the FIFA World Cup 2014
With the occasion 2014 World Football Championship, Lufthansa will temporarily rename 8 aircraft with the title "Fanhansa". In about 60 years of activity, for the first time in the history of the airline, Lufthansa will change its traditional logo on the fuselage of 8 aircraft.
The first "Fanhansa" plane will be an Airbus A321 and will be presented on 16 in May. It will operate two flights departing from Munich to London and Hamburg. The first flight operated by a "Fanhansa" aircraft will have the code LH2066 and will take off from Terminal 2, to 11: 20. Following this Airbus A321-200, another 2 aircraft will be painted for short and medium flights and five long-haul aircraft, including the Boeing 747-8i.
In about a month, the biggest football event of the year will start, and fans will be held in suspense. Fanhansa is not only a name and a logo, but also reflects Lufthansa's commitment to being a big fan of Germany's national football team. This is also a clear message for all football fans: "No matter the game, Fanhansa inspires fans and carries them to major football events around the world."
