If the weather permits, the first Airbus A350-1000 will take off on Thursday, 24 November 2016, on the inaugural flight. It is scheduled for local time 10: 30, and its duration will be approximately 4 hours. Airbus has not yet officially communicated on this subject. Airbus A350-1000 is the second model of the A350 XWB family. The first was A350-900, which entered operational service in December 2014, alongside Qatar Airways.
If the certification program will be respected, the premiums 5 Airbus A350-1000 aircraft will also be delivered to Qatar Airways (launch company), between October 2017 and February 2018.
