The first Airbus A350-900 Air Caraïbes is preparing for the flight
Air Caraïbes has ordered 6 aircraft from the A350 XWB family!
These days, Air Caribbean published pictures with the first Airbus A350-900. It is part of an order for 6 aircraft from the A350 XWB family, which was placed in December 2013.
3 A350-900 aircraft will be rented from ILFC again 3 A350-1000 aircraft will be received directly from Airbus. Aircraft will enter operational service during the 2017-2022 period.
Airbus A350-900 Air Caribbean
A350-900 Air Caraïbes aircraft will be able to transport up to NUMBER of passengers, in a configuration with 3 classes: 18 seats in Business Class, 45 seats in Premium Economy and 326 seats in Economy Class. The older brother, A350-1000, will be able to carry up to 439 passengers.
First Airbus A350-900 Caribbean Air (F-HHAV) received its engines, and on 6 February 2017 has scheduled the first test flight. Delivery is scheduled for February 28, the date when the plane will take off from Toulouse and arrive at Paris Orly.
On 1 March 2017, the aircraft will operate a flight over Paris, and on 2 March will operate the first transatlantic flight from Paris to Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe (archipelago in the eastern Caribbean).
On 3 MarchFirst Airbus A350-900 Air Caribbean will fly on the route Guadeloupe - Martinique, will fly over the sky of the island of Martinique, and from Martinique will fly to Paris Orly Sud.
