The first Airbus A350 XWB China Airlines on the Toulouse assembly line

First Airbus A350-900 XWB China Airlines takes shape at Final Assembly Line (FAL) - Toulouse, France. The assembly of the main components is done according to the plan. In the first phase, the wings, the vertical tail are mounted, then it is passed to the next phase where the assembly will be completed and the mechanical tests of the mechanical, electrical and avionics systems will be performed. In the last phase, the first Airbus A350 XWB China Airlines will receive the interior.

China Airlines will receive this aircraft in the 3 quarter of this year. We will definitely come back with a dedicated article. The Chinese operator has ordered 14 Airbus A350-900 XWB aircraft, which are to be used on long routes, to destinations in Europe, the United States and Australia, but also on the more crowded regional routes. Currently, China Airlines operates 24 of A330 and 6 aircraft of the A340 family for long-haul and regional flights.
