The first Airbus A350 XWB Thai Airways on the first flight

On 22 July, the first Airbus A350 XWB (MSN44) Thai Airways International (THAI) successfully operated the inaugural flight. It was operated from the Airbus base in Toulouse, in the southwest of France. The aircraft will enter the final stage of production and testing.

THAI ordered 12 Airbus A350-900 aircraft, 4 in a direct order and 8 in leasing. They will be used on international long-haul flights, but also on regional flights.

The A350 XWB THAI aircraft are configured in 2 classes: 32 seats in Business Class and 289 in Economy Class. The first flight is scheduled for September 16, on the route Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi - Melbourne-Tullamarine.
