The new Boeing 737-800 LOT Polish Airlines have arrived
LOT has begun receiving Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft!
The dive carrier, LOT Polish Airlines, Boeing 737-800 aircraft reception began. These are part of an order of 10 737 aircraft placed last fall, of which 6 units include 737 MAX 8.
The first Boeing 737 MAX 8 will be delivered in November 2017, with the others being received by 2020.
The new Boeing 737-800 LOT
Until the arrival of the new 737 MAX generation aircraft, LOT Polish Airlines will receive 4 737-800 Next Generation aircraft. They are rented from AerCap and come in a configuration with a class of 186 seats.
However, LOT will sell air tickets on 3 fare segments: LOT Business, LOT Premium Economy and LOT Economy, each class being adapted to the needs of LOT passengers. They will be used on flights from Warsaw to Tel Aviv, Madrid, Paris, Barcelona, Frankfurt, London and the new destination Astana.
The new 737-800 will facilitate the opening of new regional and medium routes to destinations in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
The expansion and modernization of the fleet is part of the LOT recovery and operation plan. By the end of 2018, the Polish air carrier will have a fleet of 51 aircraft, including the new 3 Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
