First flight lesson with TAROM
TAROM is also organizing this year the "First Flight Lesson", an event consisting of special flights dedicated to children who want to get started in the world of aviation. This year's flights will take place on the days of 1 and 2 June 2012. The main partner of the event is OMV Petrom. Other partners are: Henri Coandă Bucharest International Airport, Alpha Rocas, GlobeGround and Heidi Chocolat.
On the occasion of Children's Day, TAROM organizes three special flights dedicated to children, during which the little ones will attend a flying lesson in their own way, will learn new things about pilot activity and the stages of a flight and will visit the cockpit.
Other surprises are being prepared for the children: junior pilot diplomas, pilot badges, flight manuals and more.
The courses will be conducted according to the following program:
01 June: 14.40 hours, A318 aircraft
02 June: 11.00 hours, ATR72 aircraft
13.00 hours, ATR72 aircraft
The flight will take approx. 40 minutes, take-off and landing taking place at the "Henri Coandă" International Airport. In flight, children between the ages of 5 and 18 can not participate. Children aged between 5 years of age on the day of the race and 14 years of age on the day of the race must be accompanied by an elderly person. The promotional rate is 10 lei / child and 200 lei / adult. Minors over the age of 14 will be able to purchase tickets according to the adult rate, but they cannot be considered as companions for other minor children.
The aircraft were configured with a single class of travel - economical. Tickets can be purchased from any TAROM agency in Romania, and seats are limited.
