Flybondi will be the first low-cost airline in Argentina. It was established in 2016, but the first flights will operate from autumn this year. The Argentine government has approved the launch of the company, encouraging cheap flights.

Flybondi, low cost carrier

Julian Cook is Flybondi CEO, an entrepreneur with a tradition in the aviation world. Julian Cook is a businessman with a tradition in commercial aviation. In 2003, he founded Flybaboo, a low-cost Swiss carrier.

Within the company, Julian Cook will team with a group of people passionate about aviation and with close experience in other companies: Mike powell, former CFO Wizzair; Montie Brewer, former CEO of Air Canada; Michael Cawley, former COO at Ryanair and Robert Wright, former Flybaboo & Wizzair.

In February, the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC), within the Ministry of Transport of Argentina, confirmed the allocation of 78 routes for Flybondi.com: 41 of routes on domestic destinations and 37 of routes on international destinations.
