Flybondi will operate Boeing 737-800 aircraft

Flybondi, the low-cost carrier in Argentina, has begun negotiations for 50 for Boeing 737 MAX 200 aircraft.

Flybondi will be the first low-cost airline in Argentina. It was established in 2016, but the first flights will operate from autumn this year. The Argentine government has approved the launch of the company, encouraging cheap flights.

In February, the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC), within the Ministry of Transport of Argentina, confirmed the allocation of 78 routes for Flybondi.com: 41 of routes on domestic destinations and 37 of routes on international destinations.

For its flights, Flybondi has chosen Boeing 737-800 aircraft, which will be configured with 189 seats. At the same time, it announced the start of negotiations with Boeing for 50 of 737 MAX 200 aircraft.

Flybondi officials have not mentioned how many 737-800 aircraft they will buy, but their plan is to operate with 4 aircraft this year. In the coming 5 years, Flybondi plans to reach a fleet of 30 aircraft and up to 8 millions of passengers annually.
