At the end of November, the first Boeing 737 MAX 8 Aerolíneas Argentinas was delivered. The Buenos Aires-based airline is the first operator in Latin America with this type of aircraft in the fleet.
At the end of last month, Aerolíneas Argentinas received the first Boeing 737 MAX 8 from the fleet. One week later, he operated the first commercial flight on the Buenos Aires - Mendoza route.

Over the last 2 years, Aerolíneas Argentinas has seen a significant increase in passenger traffic. In 2017, the passenger traffic of Aerolíneas Argentinas increased by approximately 22% compared to 2015.
To support this growth, Aerolíneas Argentinas has decided to take over 12 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. These will be used on regional flights, and from 2018 will also enter flights to the Caribbean.
The Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft chosen by Aerolíneas Argentinas will be configured with 170 seats and the flight range will be up to 6510 kilometers.
