The 2016 winter season comes with new routes from the Lufthansa operator. For those who want to get to South Africa, note down the route Frankfurt - Cape Town with Lufthansa. It will debut on 2 December 2016 and will be operated with a frequency of 3 weekly flights, on Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays, after the following schedule:
LH576: Frankfurt 22:10 - 11:00 + 1 Cape Town
LH577: Cape Town 18:30 - 05:30 + 1 Frankfurt
Airbus A340-300 aircraft configured in 3 classes will be used: 30 seats in Business Class, 28 seats in Premium Economy and 221 seats in Economy Class.
After Johannesburg, Cape Town is one of the most important markets for Lufthansa in South Africa. In partnership with South African Airways, Lufthansa provides its passengers with advantageous connections in the region. The 9400 miles will be traveled in about 12 hours.
