Lufthansa will launch route Frankfurt - Panama City, from 16 November to 2015, becoming the 6 European carrier to fly to Panama.
The German airline will operate five weekly flights between Frankfurt and Panama City base on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flights will be honored with aircraft Airbus A340-300 configured in 3 classes: 18 seats in Business Class, 19 seats in Premium Economy and 261 seats in Economy Class.
The flights will be operated according to the following program:

LH485 PTY 18: 45 - 11: 35 + 1 BUT
On this route, Lufthansa will compete directly with the airline operator Condor. And from Europe, Air France, Iberia, KLM and TAP Portugal fly to Panama City. Lufthansa will operate the codeshare route with Copa Airlines, which does not offer transatlantic flights but offers connections to 50 from destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The aircraft will be equipped with the latest classes launched by Lufthansa and including internet available to all passengers. The price of a ticket for the route Frankfurt - Panama City will start at 796 EURO.
