What do the courses consist of?
Ultralight Aircraft:
- The theoretical module, which consists of studying 9 subjects in 50 hours;
- The practical module, which includes a minimum of 40 flight hours.

Gliding:
- The theoretical module, which consists of completing 9 subjects in a minimum of 78 hours
- The practical module, which includes a ground training program of at least 5 hours and a flight training program of at least 15 hours.

Why choose Ultralight Aircraft?
Every year, thousands of young people between the ages of 15 and 23, complete the free courses to obtain the license in one of the 10 locations where flying activity is carried out.
In recent years, the fleet of motorized ultralight aircraft has grown considerably, currently having 4 Festival R40Fs, 5 Ikarus C42s and 11 ICP Savannahs.
In 2022, for example, no less than 3900 flight hours were recorded with young people who benefited from subsidized programs.

In the Aeroclub, you will prepare to become a real parachutist through the internationally recognized Static Line method. Sign up!
Static Line is the method of jumping with a self-opening parachute, a training system that will help you from your first jump to licensing as a skydiver. You don't need any previous experience to get your license.
Competitions: After obtaining your license, you will be able to participate in fixed-point landing competitions, or you can end up training for relative work on the dome. Sign up!
Only last year, in 2022, 3000 young people signed up in all Territorial Aeroclubs. Most young people signed up to "Aurel Vlaicu" Territorial Aeroclub Bucharest, 680 in number. Of these, 450-ULM, 180- Parachute and 60-glider.
