On April 14, 2020, as I announced a few days ago, Antonov AN-225 flew to Warsaw. The only and unmatched cargo plane landed in the Polish capital, around 11:00 (Romanian time). The event was watched online by tens of thousands of fans of airplanes and flights, but also curious.

The moment of landing in Warsaw was also filmed from the cockpit of Antonov AN-225 aircraft. The pictures are spectacular and you can watch them below.

Prior to landing, Antonov An-225 Mriya operated a low pass and greeted the crowd present at the airport with a left-right swing. That's how AN-225 knows to do a show.

Antonov ON THE MONTH took off on April 11 to China. The first segment was operated from Kyiv-Antonov-2 International Airport to Almaty International Airport, then continued its journey to Tianjin and back. This is the first commercial flight after a major break, during which time the aircraft underwent capital maintenance.

It was a humanitarian flight. An-225 transported hundreds of tons of protective equipment to Poland to fight the new coronavirus in Poland. We are talking about 7 million masks, hundreds of thousands of suits, gloves and visors.
