The leasing company GECAS (GE Capital Aviation Services), part of General Electric, has entered into a commitment with Boeing, within the Farnborough International Airshow 2012, for 100 737 aircraft - 75 Boeing 737-8 MAX units and 25 Boeing 737-800 Next Generation units.

Airlines, which will use Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, will benefit from reduced fuel consumption by up to 13% and will benefit from lower maintenance costs.

Boeing currently has firm orders for 1000 from 737 MAX units and over 6600 units from the 737 Next Generation family.

Everywhere I see news about aircraft orders from Boeing and Airbus but I do not see any Romanian company buying an ATR. If you have any idea about a Romanian acquisition in the aeronautical field, let us know!

Ș one more thing. At one point, the people from INCAS had started to develop a plane called AEROTAXI, if you know anything, keep us informed.

How can it not? Carpatair received a Boeing 737 this year! :) TAROM is not currently purchasing and is trying to make its services more efficient with its existing fleet. Blue Air moves well with what it has! Purchases are made when new routes are launched, demands on the market!

Nothing about AeroTaxi is heard and nothing has been written for more than two years! We will research the topic! :)
