GECAS firmly orders 85 from Boeing 737 aircraft

Here, the wishes of the GECAS leasing company are fulfilled. The leasing company GECAS (GE Capital Aviation Services), part of the General Electric Group, has made a commitment with Boeing at the Farnborough International Airshow 2012. Yesterday the agreement was transformed into a firm order.

GECAS ordered 75 from 737 MAX 8 units and 10 737-800 units with the possibility of adding additional 15. The order was valued at $ 8.4 billion at list prices.

GE Capital Aviation Services has ordered from 1995 and up to now 580 aircraft. Now the fleet consists of 433 of 737, 747, 757, 767 and 777 aircraft and they are still in command of 147 Boeing aircraft.
